WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is reportedly rolling out picture-in-picture mode for video calls to all iOS users.

Users can now multitask while on a WhatsApp call without having to pause their video, according to WabetaInfo.

Other than the picture-in-picture format, the new update also provides the ability to attach a caption to
the documents and longer group subjects and descriptions to make it easier to characterize the groups.

On the stable version of the iOS app, picture-in-picture mode for WhatsApp calls has been broadly made available to everyone. According to the article, users must update the programme from the App Store to see if the functionality has already been activated for their WhatsApp account.

Picture-in-picture mode for video calls on iOS beta was said to have been rolling out on the messaging platform in December of last year.

The iOS beta version of WhatsApp apparently received a new feature last week that will let users to exchange up to 100 media files within chats, up from the previous limit of just 30.

Users will finally be able to share whole albums with one another thanks to this functionality, which will make it simpler to share moments and memories.
